Around the World

The Around the world series shows messages of sexual advertisements in public places around the world. Made with gold leaf on a glass panel, a technique dating from the Victorian era, the obscene character of the message inscribed on the work vanishes, leaving place to an elegant realization, in opposition to what is written. Here again the artist plays with the viewer's cognition; between what he thinks he has seen and the triviality of the note.
